A husband-and-wife duo based in central Texas. In 2018 we knocked out the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ tour in three and a half weeks (every joint on the list, the entire state, plus eight wildcards along the way). These days we’re chasing burgers with the same seriousness.
Every burger gets a Burger Notes Score out of 100. The rule: every burger gets ordered twice. One Plain & Dry for the score; One How it Comes for context. The patty, bun, seasoning, and cook have to stand on their own. Nine weighted categories, one number, no exceptions.
No sponsorships, no PR plates, no influencer kits. We pay for our own burgers, and we tell you the truth.
